Facility for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Food Security (FDOV)

The Facility for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Food Security (FDOV) encourages public private partnerships in the field of food security and private sector development in developing countries.

The overall objective is to improve the food security situation and to strengthen the private sector in developing countries, in the best interests of the overall population.

A Partnership Agreement has been established as the basis for cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and the Lead Partner on behalf of all the Partners that are willing to contribute to international development cooperation through collaboration within the Facility for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Food Security.

This object of the Partnership to stimulate sustainable economic development through public private partnerships, in order to fight poverty, improve global food security, increases self reliance and enhance private sector development.

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency administers FDOV at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
