Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI), 2013-2018
The Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI) aims to boost the competitiveness of exporters in developing countries so that they have easier access to the European market. CBI supports producers and exporters to get a foothold on the market in Europe, Business Support Organisations in improving their capabilities and to act as a Matchmaker between suppliers and buyers.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency administers CBI at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
