Life Sciences and Health for Development (LS&H4D)
Life Science & Health for Development fund (LS&H4D) aims to stimulate public private partnerships in the life sciences sector in developing countries.
The objective of the LS&H4D Fund is to achieve structural poverty reduction by improving the health status of poorer populations in developing countries, using innovative health technologies for preventing, diagnosing and/or treating Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) related conditions and poverty related diseases. Improved public health boosts economic development, while improved economic prospects mean better human health.
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) administers LS&H4D at the request of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
