The Netherlands embassy in Maputo, Mozambique contributes co financing to the Partners for Water programme in the framework of the delta cooperation activities in Mozambique.
The delta cooperation's objectives are: increase resilience in the face of water security risk.
Major needs are: hard and soft delta infrastructure, improved access to drinking water and sanitation services, improved maritime infrastructure and embedded water management improvement in broader urban management improvement in coastal cities.
The DC in Mozambique applies the operational policy framework: strengthening implementation capacity in partner deltas and strengthening bilateral relations in the water sector.
