Partners in International Business (PIB)

Partners for International Business (PIB) focuses on positioning clusters of companies and underlying sectors in promising markets through public-private cooperation.

Government support depends, among other things, on the intended objectives, the resources required and the duration of a PIB action plan. The government support amounts to a maximum of €350,000, with proportionate support expected from the cluster of companies and knowledge institutions.

The PIB projects in IATI are part of the combi-tracks. A combi-track is a programmatic approach that focuses on a specific sub-sector within lower-middle income countries (emerging markets), wherein the Dutch government, Dutch businesses, and their (local) partners collaborate, to make joint contributions towards

  • green/digital economic transitions,
  • sustainable economic development,
  • job creation for young people and women and
  • a stronger export and investment position of the Netherlands.
