Demostration project Oryon Watermill Suriname
The purpose of the demonstration is to show potential clients (including the Department of Regional Development) how the Oryon Watermill works, how much energy can actually be generated with it, what maintenance and management costs there are and whether the local population with this new technology.
The demonstration project is set up in such a way, that all seasons are included. The flow of the river, water level and the likes determine the effectiveness.
In addition, Deepwater-Energy B.V. (DWE) wants to gain insight into how robust the materials are and how often maintenance work must be done.
