Towards Sustainable Energy Solutions in Egyptian Land Reclamation Projects

This study investigated how the Netherlands can support Egypt in using sustainable energy sources in land reclamation, with a focus on Moghra. It included identifying the needs of the involved stakeholders in the government entity REEF concerning the use of renewable energy in the scenarios for land reclamation proposed by the Netherlands Agro, Food & Technology Centre (NAFTC). The study included two visits to Egypt to discuss the status of REEF and sustainable energy with stakeholders.
