Energy saving in water pumping and waste water treatment in Jordan – A Conceptual Feasibility Study

This study assesses the possibilities to reduce energy consumption and related energy bills for Yarmuk Water Company (YWC) in Jordan.

The aim is a quick scan, in close cooperation with YWC, resulting in a conceptual feasibility desk study to prioritize the most potential Energy Saving Measures (low hanging fruits), and options for future implementation. To indicate which direction to go for cost savings and CO2 reduction, as an example for large scale roll-out.
