Sarkhet Batal – The Scream of the Champion

Sarkhet Batal is a project aimed at

• Removing children out of the limestone and marble quarries in Egypt and capacitate the children with skills and knowledge;
• Improving the living standards of the families with education, income diversification, and access to (health) services;
• Addressing the due diligence of the quarries in terms of pricing, health and safety standards, etc.;
• Develop a model quarry; and
• Set up an additional business that will finance the project beyond the FBK funding.
