Partnership for Advancing Sustainable Sanitation (PASS)
The PASS project brings together public private and NGO sectors to provide clear roles and partnerships for delivering sanitation and hygiene services effective ways of funding them and strengthened capacity. Expected results include:
- Initiation: a.o. Partnership agreement baseline and CSR by September 2014.
- Compound Sanitation: 45,000 people with access to a new or upgraded toilet, reflecting strengthened supply and demand for compound sanitation in GWMA by December 2017.
- GWMA revenue: Strengthened capacity of GWMA to collect revenue for financing FSM and school sanitation by September 2016.
- School sanitation and hygiene: 1,600,000 school children with improved hygiene knowledge nationally and 7,700 children in GWMA with access to improved school WASH facilities by December 2017.
- Waste management: 40,000 people in GWMA with better FSM services by December 2017.
- Finalisation: project completed learning disseminated and finalisation requirements met by March 2018.
