The Special Treat Project
The project aims at significantly improving the living conditions of 300,000 people in and environment of the Municipal Assemblies (MAs) of Nsawam-Aodoagyiri, Ga Central and Ga West. This by treating approximately 50% of the estimated annual faecal sludge generation in these MAs.
The project installs six 30-seater sanitation blocks (plus 4 after the project duration) and 3 Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) at the project locations. At the WWTPs, production facilities for biogas and fertilizer will also be established.
