Transformative CSR Event / CSR Sri Lanka

With the successful launch of CSR Lanka in October 2014, EKN Colombo requested RVO to finance (via LED) 3 follow up events. These events are according to CSR Lanka important, relevant and timely in the current context to articulate a more impactful transformation in CSR in the Sri Lankan public and private sector.

One of the next steps defined during the knowledge exchange sessions between MVO Nederland and CSR Lanka  was: getting familiar with the transformative approach of CSR (knowledge exchange between international experts and the members of CSR Sri Lanka). The proposed events are in line with this defined next step.

This project was implemented within the framework of the L4ED programme (Local Economic Development/Leads for Economic Diplomacy) and initiated by the Netherlands representation.

The project aimed to contribute to (the enabling environment for) local private sector development, as well as economic diplomacy. It concerns a small intervention that serves as a catalyzer for further developments.
