Supply chain and logistics in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea

In a project initiated by RVO's Direction Sustainable Economic Development (DDE), courses on logistics and customs were developed and implemented, and trainers were trained. Currently, the trainers and course material remain unused, although all stakeholders emphasise the relevance of the training.

This follow-up project aims to improve the logistical sector and cooperation between the stakeholders in the port in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea, using the developed training material and trained trainers and ensuring the availability of local training in this field.

The project will entail:

  • Improving Port logistics and stakeholder dialogue and ensuring further training in this field.
  • Improving supply chain management and stakeholder dialogue and ensuring further training in this field.
  • Support with Customs and border agency cooperation in trade facilitation.
