Incoming visit female entrepreneurship from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA region)

The purpose of this project is two-sided. On the one hand, this project aims to strengthen the role-model position of ten female entrepreneurs from the MENA region by providing training and coaching, exchanging experiences from the different MENA countries and learning from those best practices and failures and how to enable more (young) women to choose entrepreneurship as a viable prospect and how to promote entrepreneurship among women. The ten female entrepreneurs are also given access to valuable networks by participating in (side)events during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in the Hague in June 2019. On the other hand, to better enable RVO and policy advisors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who focus on private sector development (PSD) and entrepreneurship in the MENA region and on the obstacles, needs and opportunities women entrepreneurs face by organizing sessions and workshops with these female entrepreneurs.
