This consortium aims to mainstream e-mobility in Kenya by leasing second-hand electric cars to taxi drivers and building the necessary charging infrastructure and ecosystem around it. Through smart fintech products and data analysis, they assess the credit score of individual taxi drivers who will become the owners of the electric vehicles at the end of the lease period. Contributing to the renewable energy agenda of Kenya, whilst creating a sustainable business model for local taxi drivers.
