Potato supply chain Ukraine: Comprehensive analysis

The potato sector in Ukraine is very important, from small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and major potato producers. Despite of being a critical pillar of national food security, rural livelihoods, and agri-food trade potential, it is the least researched supply chain in the country. As a result, it is underserved in allocation of state and investment funding and misses economic opportunities on domestic and export markets.

This comprehensive approach of research of the market in close cooperation with stakeholders will identify and address the bottlenecks for further development of potato supply chain in Ukraine.
