Video on the cooperation between the Netherlands and Vietnam in the Mekong Delta
The Netherlands and Viet Nam are strategic and long-term partners who collaborate to transform the Mekong Delta into a sustainable and prosperous region. Since the delivery of the Mekong Delta Plan in 2013 and phasing out of bilateral development cooperation, Vietnam and the Netherlands jointly took bold steps to develop the Mekong Delta in a sustainable and integral way. The Netherlands plays a strategic advisory role in the Delta's transformation. This modality of cooperation is complementary to efforts of other stakeholders. Strategic advice is highly embedded in the broad local context.
