Climate-Smart Agriculture in Ghana
This pilot project focuses on increasing water security by offering farmers more efficient ways of irrigation. In the light of an increased need for food security and the limited availability of water resources, it is vital to make the transition to more efficient irrigation technologies and climate services. In the light of climate change and rapidly changing weather patterns, the farmers in Ghana are already facing longer periods of droughts and irregular weather patterns. This information service can make them more resilient and offers them the tools and knowledge to adapt to these.
