Lake Victoria Electrification Project

Engie Energy Service (EES) targets African communities by providing tailored solutions adapted to the energy needs of its customers, starting from small solar home systems to mini-grid connections. For the operations in Uganda through mini-grid projects, EES focuses on rural communities who are not part of the country’s grid electrification plans. The mini-grid project under the SDG7 Results facility focuses on communities living on the islands of Lake Victoria.
