Bringing clean and affordable energy to refugee camps
ENGIE Energy Access (EEA) is an off-grid solar, with PAYGo and Arrears technology, and mini-grid solutions provider in Africa, with a mission to deliver life-changing, affordable, reliable and sustainable energy solutions. EEA Kenya and Tanzania target the same market and customers: communities living in rural and peri-urban areas, lacking access to a clean and reliable source of energy. The main goal of the project is to provide access to affordable and clean energy to the most vulnerable population living in the the refugee settlements of Kakuma and Kalobeyei in Kenya.
