AgriJob Booster Chad (AJB-C): Boosting decent agriculture employment in Chad

The purpose of the project is to create valuable decent jobs and (self) employment in two segments of agriculture: vegetable and egg production. This will be based on climate-friendly agriculture principals, access to finance, vocational training, access to markets and sustainable business plans of young ambitious local people.

At least 1,000 youths of which 40% are female will acquire skills to run decent agri-businesses based on circular economy principles. They will have better access to loans, inputs and equipment, and can register/own land more easily.

In addition, at least 2,000 youths of which 40% are female will master knowledge and hard and soft skills in the sustainable production of vegetables and eggs.

The AgriJobBooster will provide suitable labour and business mediation services for job seekers, agripreneurs and companies looking for agricultural products.
