Conference Cartagena – La Mojana

This project is a follow-up from the previous project TF12COP1 'Validations of Plans to improve water safety in La Mojana'.
From the 22nd till the 24th of October 2012, a three days conference was conducted in Cartagena, Colombia to:

1. present the results of Dutch advice/validation study to local stakeholders;
2. share the plans with regard to the Master Plan for La Mojana as formulated by the Fondo Adaptación with experts involved;
3. exchange ideas/perspectives with participants with regard to integrated approach;
4. discuss the Master Plan and exchange of knowledge, ideas etc by way of a technical discussion to come to the best solution.

Deliverables during the Conference:

• Presentation given during the conference regarding advice of Dutch consortium and answering questions of audience.
• Active participation to congress (active participation to discussions and give advice from a broad Dutch knowledge perspective).
• Identification of important stakeholders in network.
• To represent Dutch knowledge and acquaintance as an independent adviser.
