Keep Ukraine Warm and Healthy (Vinnytsia)

This project focuses on the replacement and expansion of an old and damaged boiler house in Vinnytsia region. The partners will install a new plug-and-play biomass combustion system, which will provide heating and hot water to medical, social and public institutions. The remaining available heat will be supplied to the net for the local population. This marks the first step towards the creation of a smart heating network which is new in Ukraine.Together the project partners not only address immediate energy security needs but also support Ukraine’s green recovery, aligning with national energy strategies and Ukraine's goal to Build Back Better. The social impact of the project is large. By using biomass, not only the price for heating will drop, CO2 emissions will also go down and the efficiency of the system will be much higher than the previous heating system. This project is designed, engineered and built by KARA Energy Systems, Almelo, the Netherlands and MUST-IPRA/KotloTurboProm, Kharkiv, Ukraine.
